Fix Fast Windows – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Fix Fast Windows,

By contracting our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Definitions

  • Company: Refers to Fix Fast Windows.
  • Client: Refers to the individual or entity purchasing products or services from Fix Fast Windows.
  • Product(s): Windows and Doors fabricated by Fix Fast Windows.
  • Services: The fabrication and/or installation of windows and doors.

3. Quotations and Estimates

  • Quotations provided by Fix Fast Windows are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, after which they may be subject to adjustment.
  • Quotations are based on information provided by the Client. Any changes in specifications or requirements may affect the final price.

4. Orders and Agreement

  • An order is confirmed once the Client provides written acceptance of the quotation and pays the required deposit.
  • By placing an order, the Client agrees to these terms and conditions.

5. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required upon order confirmation. The remaining 50% balance is due prior to delivery of the products.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, cheque, or credit card.
  • Fix Fast Windows reserves the right to withhold or suspend services if payments are not made in accordance with these terms.

6. Delivery and Installation

  • Delivery Date: Fix Fast Windows will provide an estimated delivery date upon order confirmation. While we strive to meet these dates, delays may occur due to factors outside our control, such as material shortages or weather conditions.
  • Installation: If installation services are included, our team will ensure the work is carried out to industry standards. The Client is responsible for providing access to the installation area and ensuring that the space is clear of obstructions.
  • Installation Guarantee: All installations are covered by a one-year warranty for defects in workmanship, beginning from the installation completion date.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Site Access: The Client must ensure that Fix Fast Windows has clear and unobstructed access to the work site during scheduled installation times.
  • Permissions: The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, consents, or permits before installation.
  • Measurements and Specifications: Fix Fast Windows relies on accurate information provided by the Client. Any changes to measurements or specifications may result in additional charges and/or delays.

8. Product Warranty

  • Fix Fast Windows provides a 10-year warranty on all UPVC and Aluminium windows and doors, covering defects in materials.
  • This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages caused by misuse, or damages due to improper maintenance.
  • Any claims under this warranty must be reported in writing to Fix Fast Windows as soon as a defect is discovered.
  • Any Defects with the products must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

9. Limitations of Liability

  • Fix Fast Windows will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the products.
  • Fix Fast Windows’ liability is limited to the value of the products and services provided under the contract with the Client.
  • The Company will not be liable for any damage resulting from the Client’s failure to comply with these terms.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders cancelled by the Client before fabrication begins are eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid, less any costs incurred.
  • If fabrication has started, the Client may still cancel the order, but only partial refunds may be given, at the Company’s discretion.
  • Installation cancellations require at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made without sufficient notice may incur a cancellation fee.

11. Force Majeure

Fix Fast Windows is not liable for any delay or failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Fix Fast Windows respects the privacy of our clients and is committed to protecting any personal information collected.
  • Personal information will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders, communicating with Clients, and maintaining records.
  • Fix Fast Windows will not share Client information with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Amendments

Fix Fast Windows reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

The latest version of the terms and conditions will be available on our website and provided to the Client upon request.
